in different categories.

Professional Scholarships
General Scholarships
General:
National police Foundation provide scholarships to the children of beneficiaries who are studying Law, Commerce and M.Sc in recognized educational Institutions of Pakistan.
Procedure:
The Scholarships are advertised in important national newspapers and applicants apply on prescribed forms alongwith recommendations and the verification from the head of the educational institution and the DPO concerned.
Eligibility:
The applicant should have secured 60% marks at graduation level i.e., B.A, B.Sc., B.Com, etc.
Amount:
Amount of Scholarship is Rs. 1000/- p.m. Rate is reviewed periodically.
Merit Scholarships:
General:
National Police Foundation provides scholarships to the children of beneficiaries for a period of two years, irrespective of their rank/ financial status.
Procedure:
The Scholarships are advertised in important national newspapers and applicants apply on prescribed forms alongwith recommendations and the verification from the head of the educational institution and the DPO concerned.
Eligibility:
Only those students are eligible for grant of these scholarships who secure one of the top ten positions in their respective board/ university examinations.
Amount:
Merit scholarships are given at the following rates:-
Post Matric: Rs. 500/- per month
Post Intermediate: Rs. 600/- per month
Professional Scholarships
General:
National Police Foundation provides professional scholarships to the children of beneficiaries of the rank of Inspector and below in the following subjects:-
- Medical including Dentistry, Veterinary Sciences.
- Engineering (Civil Electrical, Mechanical, Textile, Chemical and Computer Engineering, etc.)
- Agriculture
- CA, ICMA
- MBA, BBA
- MCS, MS, MIT, BCS, BIT, BE, etc.
Procedure:
Same as for general scholarships.
Eligibility:
For the purpose of this scholarship eligibility is determined as following:-
- Applicant must be a student of an institute recognized by the Pakistan Government.
- Children of beneficiaries of the rank of Inspector and below are eligible for this scholarship.
- Only one child of a family can get this scholarship at a time.
Merit Scholarships:
Medical:
Day Scholars: Rs. 1000/- p.m
Hostel Residents: Rs. 1500/- p.m
Engineering: (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Textile, Chemical etc.)
Day Scholars: Rs. 1000/- p.m
Hostel Residents: Rs. 1500/- p.m
Computer Engineering:
Day Scholars: Rs. 2000/- p.m
Hostel Residents: Rs. 2500/- p.m
Agriculture:
Day Scholars: Rs. 500/- p.m
Hostel Residents: Rs. 1000/- p.m
